What if I need more than one authority type?
FMCSA charges $300 for each authority type. We will confirm what you actually need before filing so you do not pay for the wrong application.
Does BOC-3 renew every year?
The $20 provider we identified advertises no yearly renewal fee. A BOC-3 generally remains effective unless the process agent changes or withdraws. Conditional document-delivery charges can apply under the provider's terms.
Are government fees refundable?
FMCSA authority application fees are generally nonrefundable after acceptance. We review the filing before submission because choosing the wrong authority type can cost another $300.
